I Dropped the Ball...Now I'm Back

Confession time: I dropped the ball this summer… and I’m guessing I’m not the only one.
Six weeks of school holidays later, my camera roll is overflowing with snapshots of family chaos, funny face selfies, snack stops, sandy shoes, and ice cream moustaches. Somewhere between making memories and negotiating smiles, Glow Forward CIC slipped into the background for a little while.
And that’s okay. Sometimes, we just can’t do it all. Sometimes, we have to put the laptop down and focus on the kids. Maybe you’ve done the same - whether you’re running a business, working, or just keeping the house afloat. Summer is full on, and pressing pause is part of life.
Here’s the funny thing though. Glow Forward CIC only launched in June. In that short time, I built a website, ran my first vision board workshop (which was apparently a big hit) and then life swept me up. The ball rolled away. But here’s the good news. I’ve picked it back up.
From here on, I promise you’ll see more of me. More useful, honest, uplifting tips and inspo to help you find your glow and move forward... even when life feels like one giant to-do list!
If you’ve been on the same 'rollercoaster ride' powered by tantrums, half-eaten sandwiches, and “Muuuuum!” on repeat, you’ll know exactly what I mean. Life has a way of knocking us sideways, but the good news is, you can pick the ball back up and here are three simple ways to do just that.
3 Simple Ways to Pick the Ball Back Up
1. Start Small (Tiny Wins Count!)
Don’t overwhelm yourself with a massive to-do list. Just pick one or two small, doable things today. Post that update, book that appointment, clear one cupboard. Each win builds momentum.
2. Create a Gentle Routine
Now that school’s back, carve out a little structure for yourself. Even a 30-minute “focus block” each morning before the day unravels can work wonders. Consistency beats intensity.
3. Brain Dump and Prioritise
Grab a notebook and get everything swirling in your head onto paper: every task, idea, and reminder. Then circle the top three that will actually move you forward this week. Instant clarity, less overwhelm.
Here’s to fresh starts this September. To showing up imperfectly, but showing up all the same. And to giving ourselves permission to begin again, whenever we need to.
It's so good to be back, and I can’t wait to share more with you.
Always in your corner,
Lu
P.S. From January, my free 10-week transformational workshops will be kicking off. If you’d like to join (and even bring a friend), pop over to my events page and RSVP to any that catch your eye. I’d love to see you there.
