We’re absolutely thrilled to share that Glow Forward CIC has received funding from Sport England to deliver Step Into Strength: Mindful Movement for Women in Stafford! This 12-week programme is designed to help women affected by trauma, abuse, mental health challenges, or low self-esteem reconnect with their bodies in a safe, supportive, and empowering space.

The programme is split into two engaging phases: the first six weeks focus on gentle, trauma-informed yoga, building strength, flexibility, and confidence in movement. The following six weeks focus on hikes, brisk walks, and stretching, helping you improve stamina, enjoy the outdoors, and feel stronger in your everyday life. Each session is welcoming and social, with opportunities to connect with other women, share a cup of tea, and build lasting friendships.

To support your progress at home, participants can take home a yoga mat for the six weeks of yoga and access pre-recorded yoga sessions, so you can practice at your own pace and continue building strength, flexibility, and confidence beyond each session.

By joining Step Into Strength, you’ll not only increase your weekly activity, but also reduce isolation, boost wellbeing, and discover movement as a form of self-care. Whether it’s feeling stronger, sleeping better, enjoying nature, or simply spending time with like-minded women, there’s so much to gain – and we can’t wait to welcome you!
