Thriving to Surviving
This new, empowerment project for 2026 is made possible by The National Lottery Community Fund

We are so grateful to the National Lottery for supporting our project, Surviving to Thriving. Thanks to this funding, Glow Forward CIC can offer free, transformational weekly workshops for women in Stafford who have experienced domestic abuse, mental health challenges, or low self-esteem. Your support is helping us create a safe, welcoming space where women can rebuild confidence, explore new skills, and connect with others.
The programme will include a variety of engaging and empowering activities each week, such as:
-
Week 1: Wheel of Life – reflecting on different areas of life, recognising strengths, and spotting opportunities for growth.
-
Week 2: Vision Boarding – setting goals and visualising a positive future.
-
Week 3: Makeup Masterclass (Easy Everyday Looks) – simple techniques to boost confidence and feel great in your own skin.
-
Week 4: Colour Confidence (Colour Analysis) – discovering which colours uplift your mood and enhance your features.
-
Week 5: Styling for Body Confidence – practical tips to dress for your shape and feel empowered.
-
Week 6: Overcome Self Doubt - reflective exercises to challenge negative thoughts, reframe self-talk and strengthen self belief.
-
Week 7: Journaling & Affirmations – processing emotions and building resilience through writing and positivity.
-
Week 8: Creative Crafts – hands-on activities like clay pot making and candle painting to spark creativity and nurture self-expression.
-
Week 9: Yoga and Breathwork – gentle movement and mindfulness to reduce stress and promote wellbeing.
-
Week 10: Celebration Week – reflecting on achievements and celebrating progress in a supportive environment.
This project is all about helping women move from surviving to thriving, rediscover their identity, and take positive steps forward. Thank you again to the National Lottery for making this possible – we can’t wait to welcome women into this empowering journey!
